The new academic year is approaching, but managing student tenancies has changed. From updated tenancy agreements and guarantor arrangements to deposits, inventories and new possession rules, landlords need to make sure their processes are ready before their next group of students moves in.
The Renters’ Rights Act has also replaced fixed-term assured shorthold tenancies with periodic tenancies in England, while introducing specific rules for landlords who need to regain possession of eligible student properties for the following academic year.
In this practical webinar, we’ll explain what the changes mean for student landlords, the steps you should complete before move-in day, and how to avoid common problems throughout the tenancy.
