Intermediate / Senior Full-Stack Engineer

New Zealand valid work visa or residency is required for this position. 

We are looking for an Intermediate or Senior full-stack engineer with .NET experience to our join our team in Auckland CBD.

On offer is a unique opportunity to help develop and improve our rapidly growing cloud based property management platform. We require a motivated and technically capable developer to help enhance our portal for our web interface.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Approximate split of 60% front-end / 40% back-end work (C#)
  • Write well-designed, testable code
  • Work alongside developers and designers to design and implement complex solutions
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
  • Comply with project plans and industry standards
  • Help evaluate and research new technologies to use in our systems

Required Skills:

  • 4+ years commercial experience as a web developer, with proven success in HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Cloud development experience, preferably with Azure
  • ASP.NET MVC & Web API experience
  • Experience with JavaScript and JQuery
  • Responsive design and use of modern web frameworks
  • Knowledge of object-oriented design and computer science fundamentals
  • Experience with a relational database (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server)

Great to have but not required:

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure
  • Contributing to public open source project(s) and involvement in local technology communities
  • Working with teams in remote locations
  • React experience
  • A degree in Computer Science or relevant field, however we’re more interested in your commercial experience
